Produce, produce, produce

Just thought I would give you an update on my "self sufficient" vegie garden.

The plants are growing really well. My zuchinni plants are running out of space and they have already started to produce yummy yummy zuchinni's. The peas, capsicums, brocilli, celery and leeks are all doing really well, the lettuces are getting bigger and soon we'll be able to eat them.

Its been so rewarding to grow our own vegies, especially when some of them have been grown from seed. Living in the city makes things like this difficult and with the supermarket only a few hundred meters down the road its always so easy to pop in to get vegies. This is why having a vegie garden and being self sufficient is so important to me.

Well done Nenagh! I wanna especially try your zuchini which looks yum! Well, we should start self sufficient as well, yet I will have less time this coming summer... M is now trying to grow Cabbage Tree! The seeds have been in fridge for a week + but no change yet!
