Introducing Amber Caetlan

Finally on 19 Feb, Amber Caetlan arrived.

She is absolutely beautiful and so precious and we just can't believe that she's ours and that she's finally here. Life before her arrival seems so incomplete.



As you can see Brandon is a very proud father. He couldn't be more chuffed if he tried. Brandon was desperate to get his family home and after spending two days in the hospital I was desperate to get home too.


Amber is doing really well and she's only lost a little bit of weight so far. She was a little jaundice but we seem to have that under control now. Apart from all that she is settling into a nice routine of 3-4 hour sleeps which is great for me as I only have to get up once in the night. Yeah!!!


We've had a visit from Amber's granny and great-granny, so we had four generations in the house.
Amber is changing every day and her little personality is really starting to develop. I will try to keep my blog updated with pictures and stories about what Amber is doing.

Piss Head

Brandon went to the Wellington Seven's on 1 Feb and this was his costume. If any of you have been to the Seven's you'll know that everyone dresses up.

Brandon started the day with just an afro wig, mustache and painted red face, arms and legs but by the end of the night everyone had attached their empty beer and wine bottles to his afro......thus he became....Piss Head!!
