House painting

We have splashed out a bit more and got the house painted. Its totally transformed the look. I love it! I can't believe how quickly it took the painters to complete it - just a week! The painters worked really hard and the house has come up really good.

We've already had heaps of comments about it and its come out heaps better than what I thought it would.

Kitchen

The kitchen is finally completed!!!


I can't believe how different the kitchen looks. Its finally completed after us starting the whole renovation thing and then deciding half way through it that we are not DIY savvy. We managed to get the "professionals" in before Christmas and in one day the old kitchen was transformed into the new kitchen.

I love it! Its great having new appliances and a brand new look to our kitchen.

The before pic was taken half way through the renovation. Just imagine the cupboards being brown wood and a really old (big) oven in the space where the new oven and microwave is.

Graduation

After 7 1/2 years part time study I finally graduated on 15 December 2007.

Something that has taken so long to achieve has finally come to an end. On 15 Dec I graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration in Economics and Commercial Law. I studied for 7 1/2 years while working full time at the Treasury. There were so many experience for me during my study time that made graduating that much more enjoyable. A huge achievement for me, especially when I think about all those times I wanted to give up. A big huge thanks to Brandon for being so supportive of me while I studied. Now we can enjoy our weekends together and no more text books getting in our way!
